My name is John . I am from Seattle, Washington. Seattle is a city in the United States. It is near the border of Canada in the northwest corner of the USA. I live in a town called Olympia which is on the Puget Sound. I live in a house in a street in the countryside. The street is called "Bear Street" and the house is old - more than 100 years old! I am an English teacher at a school in the center of the town. We have all kinds of food in Olympia. I like Italian food very much. Sometimes, I go to an Italian restaurant in Seattle. The restaurant is called "Luigi's ".

*الكلمات التى تحتها خط لم يسبقها اى اداة للتعريف او التنكير.
,اتت(a) امام الاسماء المفردةوالغير محددة الاداة *
اتت(an) امام الاسماء المفردة والغير محددة ولكنها مع الكلمات التى تبدأ بأحد الحروف المتحركة اما
.الاداة (The). اتت امام الاسماء التى تم ذكرها للمرة الثانية اى اصبحت محددة ومعروفة لنا*
*الكلمات التى تحتها خط لم يسبقها اى اداة للتعريف او التنكير.
,اتت(a) امام الاسماء المفردةوالغير محددة الاداة *
اتت(an) امام الاسماء المفردة والغير محددة ولكنها مع الكلمات التى تبدأ بأحد الحروف المتحركة اما
.الاداة (The). اتت امام الاسماء التى تم ذكرها للمرة الثانية اى اصبحت محددة ومعروفة لنا*
ومن هنا نستخلص القاعدة:
أولا:-
* ادوات التنكير فى الانجليزية هما:
an / a
* الوظيفة التى يقومان بها
يسبقا الاسماء الغير محددة والمفردة والتى تعد.
*الاختلاف بينهما:
(a)
تاتى امام الاسماء التى تبدأ بحرف ساكن
(an).
تأتى امام الاسماء التى تبدأ بصوت متحرك وليس بالضرورة ان كل كلمة تبدأبحرف متحرك ياتى امامها بل توضع حسب النطق ان كان نطق اول حرف فى الاسم يبدا بصوت متحرك اى احد الاصوات التالية:
وذلك لتسهيل النطق(a,u,o,i,e)

* الوظيفة التى يقومان بها
يسبقا الاسماء الغير محددة والمفردة والتى تعد.
*الاختلاف بينهما:

تاتى امام الاسماء التى تبدأ بحرف ساكن

تأتى امام الاسماء التى تبدأ بصوت متحرك وليس بالضرورة ان كل كلمة تبدأبحرف متحرك ياتى امامها بل توضع حسب النطق ان كان نطق اول حرف فى الاسم يبدا بصوت متحرك اى احد الاصوات التالية:
وذلك لتسهيل النطق(a,u,o,i,e)
امثلة على ذلك:

-فى هذا المثال نطقنا حرفu متشابه فى نطق الحرف الساكنy

لاتنطق h واول نطق فى الكلمة لحرف(o)

فى هذه الكلمة نطقنا (eks ray)وليس(ze ray

برغم وجود حرف e
الا ان الكلمة نطقها شاذ فتنطق (yo) ولذا لم نضع an

A snake may be a sign of the poisoning society performs upon our values.اقصد اى افعى وليست واحدة محددة فلم نستخدم اداة تعريف

فى هذا المثال نتكلم عن الافعى كرمز لجميع الافاعى فتم تعريفها
فى هذا المثال نتكلم عن الافعى كرمز لجميع الافاعى فتم تعريفها
The snake brought to the New York Zoo is a unique example of his species. فى هذا المثال قد حددنا اى افعى نقصد

نضع ادوات تعريف امام الاتى:
1-اسماء البحار والمحيطات.
مثل:

نضع ادوات تعريف امام الاتى:

2-الاماكن الجغرافية واسماء الخلجان والغابات مثل:
. the Sahara, the Persian Gulf, the Black Forest, the Iberian Peninsula

**لا نضع ادوات التعريف والتنكير امام التالى:
أولا: معظم اسماء العلم:
*اسماء الاشخاص مثل:
John/Mona/Ahmed
*اسماء الجبال مثل:
Mount Everest, Mount Fuji
باستثناء الجبال المكونة من سلسلة جبال
the Andes or the Rockies
باستثناء الجبال المكونة من سلسلة جبال

*اسماء القارات مثل:
Asia, Europe
اسماء القرى والمدن والولايات مثل
Seoul, Manitoba, Miami
اسماء الشوارع:مثل:

اسماء البحيرات مثل:
Lake Titicaca, Lake Erie
باستثناء البحيرة المكونة من مجموعة من البحيرات مثل: the Great Lakes

معظم اسماء الدول مثل:
Italy, Mexico, Boliviaاما الدول ذات العدة ولايات متفرقة او ذات الاسماء المركبة المكونة من اكثر من كلمة فتسبقها اداة التعريف مثل:
the Netherlands, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, the United States

اسماء الجزر مثل:
Easter Island, Maui, Key West
باستثناء اذا كانت الجزيرة عبارة عن مجموعة من الجزر

*ثانيا:حينما نتكلم عن شئ ما بشكل عام*

ملحوظة::-ولكن عندما نتحدث عن مكان معين او نوصف وجبة او اى شئ معين نستخدم التعريف

*ثالثا:هناك كذلك مجموعة من الاسماء معينة لا يسبقها ادوات التعريف *
اسماء اللغات مثل:
Chinese, English, Spanish.
ولكن اذا سبقت احدى اسماء اللغات اداة التعريف فاننا نقصد هنا الشعب المتحدث بتلك اللغة وليست اللغة نفسها
اسماء الالعاب الرياضية
مثل:volleyball, basketball, soccer.
اسماء المواد الدراسيةمثل:
mathematics, biology, political science
Chinese, English, Spanish.
ولكن اذا سبقت احدى اسماء اللغات اداة التعريف فاننا نقصد هنا الشعب المتحدث بتلك اللغة وليست اللغة نفسها
