سلسلة من ثلاثة مستويات جديدة حيث يتعلم الطلاب وممارسة الكلمات والعبارات التي تحتاج إلى معرفته في الأساسي والمتوسط، ومستويات متقدمة. كل مستوى من مهارات أكسفورد كلمة Oxford Word Skills Basic تمكن الطلاب من: شاهد كيف تستخدم الكلمات في الإنجليزية تحدثا وكتابة، تدرب باستخدام المفردات ومراجعة ما تعلموه، دراسة في المنزل أو في الصف، تعلم الكلمات والتحضير للامتحانات الرئيسية، استخدم في 'اختبار نفسك' بطاقة للتحقق من الكلمات والعبارات التي كانوا يعرفون، وتلك التي تحتاج إلى مزيد من الممارسة. يحتوي هذا الكتاب 80 وحدات في المستوى الأساسي. CD-ROM يساعد الطلاب: تعلم كيف تقول الكلمات، تدرب الاستماع إلى الكلمات واستخدامها، ودمج ما تعلموه في كتاب الطلاب مع التمارين التفاعلية المرتبطة.

Each level of Oxford Word Skills enables students to:See how the words are used in spoken and written English, Practise using the vocabulary, Revise what they have learned, Study at home or in class, Learn the words as preparation for major exams, Use the 'test yourself' card to check which words and phrases they know, and which ones need more practice. This book contains 80 Units at Basic level. CD-ROM helps students: Learn how to say the words, Practise listening to the words and using them, Consolidate what they have learnt in the Students Book with linked interactive exercises.
1. Minimum system requirements
- Windows 2000, XP, Vista
- Intel Pentium III 450MHz or faster processor (or *****alent)
- 128 MB RAM
- 400 MB available hard disk space
- Monitor capable of 1024 x 768 resolution recommended.
- Sound card with speakers / headphones
- CD-ROM drive
or
- MacOS 10.2 or later
- PowerPC G4 500MHz or faster processor
- 128 MB RAM
- 400 MB available hard disk space
- Monitor capable of 1024 x 768 resolution recommended.
- Sound card with speakers / headphones
- CD-ROM drive
We recommend you set your keyboard to UK English
2. Running the application
For Windows
Ensure that Windows 2000, XP or Vista is running with no other applications open.
Insert the Oxford Word Skills CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
The application should start automatically.
If it does not start automatically, then do the following:
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Double-click on the Oxford Word Skills CD-ROM icon.
- Double-click on the start_here.exe icon.
For Mac
Ensure that MacOS 10.2 or later is running with no other applications open.
Insert the Oxford Word Skills CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
Double-click the Oxford Word Skills CD-ROM icon that will appear on the desk top.
Double-click on the start_here icon
The application should now start.
