The first day of Dhul-Hijjah is Wednesday November 18th (confirmed by Hajj
authorities in Mecca, Saudi Arabia) and therefore Hajj (day of Arafah) will
be on Thursday November 26th followed by Eid-ul-Adha on Friday, November
27th Insha'Allah.
Abu Qatada (Allah be pleased with him) related that the Messenger of Allah
(blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, "Fasting
the Day of `Arafah [9th of Dhu'l Hijjah] expiates for two years, one prior
and one forthcoming. And fasting the Day of `Ashura [10th of Muharram]
expiates for the past year."
[Reported by Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah]
*I ask Allah to accept from all*
* of us our **acts of worship.*
* And I wish everyone *
*a blessed and happy Eid.*
* Eid Mubarak.*
